When most brides hear the word “theme,” they cringe. Typically, our first thought when we hear that word is a gaudy circus, an over-the-top unicorn theme, or trashy, cheap birthday party decor from our childhood birthday parties. We’re here to argue that a wedding theme can be classy and elevated, when executed correctly.

After 5 months of wedding planning with Emily, her big day finally arrived! March 26, 2022 was a magical day. Over the last 5 months, I had the opportunity to witness Emily’s love for Charles firsthand. The city boy meets country girl love story came to life through Emily & Charles.

We are immensely honored to call the Upstate of South Carolina our home and to share space in the Upstate wedding industry with so many genuine and talented vendors. Our heart is that, as wedding planners, we would continually be able to act as gracious guides, connecting vendors of all kinds with each other and with our couples. The morning of September 29, 2022 will always be one of our most cherished memories.

When it seemed like the rain wouldn’t stop, we collectively decided we were going to make the best out of the day, no matter what. As the groom, officiant, bridal party, flower girls, and ring bearer walked down the aisle, miraculously, the rain began to subside.
